We are a unique family business in terms of location, atmosphere, and history, with our core activities being accommodation, restaurant, and program services in the heart of the Muotkatunturi and Paistunturi wilderness areas, halfway between the villages of Kaamanen and Karigasniemi.
Our accommodation services are versatile, ranging from the most affordable single rooms to highly luxurious shoreline cottages, with Northern-facing walls made of glass, offering stunning views of the wilderness along the Kielajoki River in summer and directly into the northern lights displays in winter. Our current accommodation capacity is approximately 38 people, and it will expand to over forty next year with the completion of two new buildings towards the end of the year.
Our restaurant offers high-quality food, primarily sourced from foraged or locally caught ingredients and regional delicacies. Our chefs specialize in wild game, which is prominently featured on our menu and, most importantly, on the plates. We also prepare high-quality dinners from fish caught by our customers during fishing safaris, upon their request.
Our location between two wilderness areas enables us to provide truly unique fishing services, especially during winter when we can take snowmobiles to numerous lakes and ponds with extremely low fishing pressure – there are no other fishing service providers in our immediate area, and locals rarely fish in these regions. In the summer, we have wilderness river fishing spots nearby, where, with an experienced guide, you can catch large grayling, sizable whitefish, and splendid trout. During the summer, we also take our customers trolling and fishing for pike in nearby lakes, where we have boats.
Additionally, we offer the opportunity to experience traditional fishing methods, including summer and winter netting and ice fishing.
Our guides are extremely passionate anglers, and we have high-level expertise in fly fishing, lure fishing, and traditional fishing.
Due to our location, our other program services are exceptional as well. We can venture into the real wilderness right from our holiday village, whether it’s snowshoeing, snowmobiling, or skiing safaris. Our unique offering also includes hunting activities, which are not commonly found in Inari.
The intimate atmosphere of our establishment allows for hosting various private events, such as weddings or other special occasions.
